Republic

The Republic is formally a civilian state but in practice a plutocratic-religious regime. Real power belongs to those who control capital, Ether, distillate, infrastructure, fleets, production and the favor of the Inquisition; public neural-implant voting is a loyalty spectacle rather than a decision-making mechanism.
