Anti-Ether

The only known source of true Anti-Ether is Cerberus, guardian of Morven’s Crypt of Forgotten Codes. Anti-Ether causes temporal freezing of biological tissue. Without the timely administration of a full dose of pure distillate, the organism loses cohesion while the nervous system dies last.

    Space is filled with Astral Ether: an energetic, magical and informational medium connected to life force. Ships travel by accounting for its density, currents, storms and navigational nodes.

  • Ether Distillate

    Human civilization treats distillate as strategic fuel, a means of extending existence, a source of power and an exceptionally rare commodity. The principal human monopoly on pure distillate is associated with the Aeteris Coration. The Myurids can produce small quantities through the weaving of their strongest Weaver and have used it only to save Weavers mummified by an error in weaving.
